Autumn photos. My yearly attempt to make my parents miss living on the mainland. My impetus for writing a blog post about fall break in Oberlin. The background of this image reminds me of a impressionist painting, and is now my new desktop on my home computer.

Frosty, chilly mornings in Oberlin. 24 degrees but beautiful.

More autumn mornings in Oberlin. I’m surprised by how humid it is and yet it is chilly… hence the beautiful diffused mist.

This shadow is more than it seems — the light that’s shining through the covered bike racks and trees that we see in silhoutte on the east side of Mudd are illuminated from the sun reflecting off of the windows of Peters. It’s a brain twister, in a great way.
